Your itinerary
Timings and camps can shift with the season and wildlife; your guide adapts each day to give you the best sightings.
Day 1: Welcome to Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to a luxury retreat outside Arusha. Orientation and a private welcome dinner.
Day 2: The giants of Tarangire
A full-day safari in Tarangire along the river circuits and through the baobab hills.
Day 3: Lake Manyara
A scenic game drive among the forest, baboons and flamingos of Lake Manyara, then up to the highlands.
Day 4: Into the central Serengeti
Cross into the Serengeti for an afternoon game drive in the Seronera Valley.
Day 5: Seronera’s big cats
A full day with the central Serengeti’s lions, leopards and cheetahs.
Day 6: To the migration
Move to a second camp positioned for the season: the southern plains, the Western Corridor or the northern Mara River.
Day 7: With the herds
A full day following the migration and its predators.
Day 8: Crater rim relaxation
Fly or drive back to the Ngorongoro highlands. Afternoon forest walk or visit to a local community project.
Day 9: The eighth wonder
A full day inside the Ngorongoro Crater, looking for the Big Five.
Day 10: Departure
A relaxed morning, then the drive to Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport for your flight home.
