Overview

The experience

Designed by photographers, for photographers. Slow orbits around sightings, bean-bag support, and 360-degree vantage points. We understand that light is everything; we depart well before dawn to find the lions as the first rays of "golden hour" hit the plains. Our vehicles are specially modified to allow for low-angle shots, and our guides are experts in positioning the vehicle to catch the backlighting on a leopard's coat or the dust cloud behind a galloping giraffe.

What to expect

  • Long hours in the best light
  • Vehicles with space for gear
  • Patient positioning at sightings
  • Bean bags for support

How it works

What it looks like on the ground

  1. Day 1-4

    Golden Hour at Grumeti

Spend several days in a private concession with unrestricted off-road access. This allows us to position perfectly for light without the constraints of public park roads.

  2. Day 5-9

    The Predator Apex

Deep-field exploration of the Seronera and Namiri Plains. Focus on big cat behavior, using long lenses to capture intimate moments without disturbing the wildlife.

  3. Day 10-12

    Post-Processing with a View

Transfer to a quiet lodge on the edge of the Rift Valley. Dedicated spaces for editing your captures while the sun sets over the distant Serengeti.

What to bring

  • Two camera bodies if you have them
  • Telephoto lens (400–600 mm)
  • Wide-angle lens for landscapes
  • Spare batteries and cards
  • Dust covers

Good to know

  • A private vehicle lets you wait for the shot without compromise.
  • Charging is available in most camps and many vehicles.
